Surveys
You can now create polls within posts or group chats. In the chat area, you'll find a plus sign next to the bracket icon. Clicking it allows you to create a poll. Choose a title, select the answer options, and decide whether participants can choose multiple answers.
The poll will appear in the chat after submission. Under "View votes" you can see exactly how the voting was done.
About the new survey feature
Surveys allow you to effectively and easily gather opinions and feedback from community members. They are excellent for planning events and collecting information.
Opinions on current topics or simply to make everyday decisions. Other uses:
- Planning and coordination of events: Use surveys to determine the best dates for community meetings or to coordinate details for events.
- Promoting user interaction: Create topic-specific surveys within groups that address current and relevant topics and stimulate discussion.
- Regular feedback collection: Use surveys regularly to learn directly from users what is important to them and how they feel.
Server availability status page
At status.communiapp.de you can now view the current status of our servers and check whether everything is working as intended.
In addition, the following bugs were fixed:
- Book recommendations cannot be automatically archived.
- Today the dividing line in an event hasn't scrolled to the correct position.
- Paperclip overlaps chat
- Groups can no longer be muted.
