Even though the new app version looks familiar at first glance, a lot has changed under the hood: We've completely modernized the technical foundation and switched to future-proof technologies. This will allow us to develop new features faster in the future and tailor the app even better to your needs.
A first highlight is already in the starting blocks: The new donation function will appear in the next version. The app is already running noticeably smoother and more stably – and that's just the beginning.
Adjust text size on iOS
On iOS, the text size is now also inherited from the system settings in the app. This makes reading and writing even more comfortable.
In addition, the following bugs were fixed:
- Attachments were not visible to unregistered users if the post was opened via a link.
- Polls were not always loaded correctly after a post was moved to a group.
- On iOS, it was not possible to paste images from the clipboard into the chat.
- In very large group chats, some chats failed to load.
