Frequently asked questions
The feature costs a flat fee of €14 per month for your app – there is an additional fee charged by the payment provider for each transaction. Communi does not earn anything from the transactions.
If your app is part of a framework agreement, the fees may be lower.
The fees per transaction are independent of Communi and are paid directly to the payment provider. Depending on the chosen payment method, they amount to, for example, 0.5% of the transaction amount up to a maximum of €5 per transaction for SEPA direct debit.
Recognition as a non-profit organization is a prerequisite. Different conditions apply to for-profit organizations.
Your community can donate via Apple Pay, Google Pay, credit card, direct debit, Paypal and many other methods – easily and on the go.
You decide which payment methods are ultimately offered.
TWINT is also supported in Switzerland.
Not directly. You set up a profile with one or two payment providers (e.g., PayPal), they handle the processing and transfer the money directly to a selected account.

For cities and municipalities, this function can open up additional avenues for financing citizen-oriented projects.
