In the new version of the app, the focus is on the newly developed function of marked, unread posts. This is intended to provide a better, individual overview for the app user. We have also worked more on stabilizing and improving the app. Below you will find out everything about the new version and other exciting information.
Release 1.33 will automatically be available on your smartphone in the next few weeks.
Unread posts
Unread posts are marked by the line on the left side of the post. The color for marking unread posts can be customized in the admin area under “Customize app design”. The update will be available in the app with the next update. You can also click on the line to remove it if you want to mark the post as “read”. By long-pressing “Home” you can mark all posts as read. At the moment it is not possible to mark posts as unread again.
Text formatting
It is now possible to format text in messages and post descriptions using Markdown. To use bold text, surround the text with two asterisks (**) or two underscores (__). For italic text, use a single asterisk (*) or an underscore (_).
YouTube Shorts
If you upload a video to a post, you now have the option to upload shorts. These will be played like all other YouTube videos.

Server stability
We have been working on the stability and performance of your app for 6 months. To ensure a more fail-safe and faster app, we moved the apps to a larger network of servers last week. The content of your app is now updated more quickly.
