In an innovative team we develop solutions, to connect people.

Our platform enables intuitive and structured communication for communities. This is how we make it easy to belong. Because when people meet, prejudices disappear and a community is created.

Our story...

... begins in 2014 in a small café in the heart of Würzburg. The question: How do we get people excited about our community.

The realization: Personal contact and friendships are the basis of community. This potential is currently only accessible to a small proportion of people.

The idea: We create a digital platform where people can share their activities and information and interested parties can easily join.

Lukas finally had the idea of developing his own app if we couldn’t find a suitable platform.

A few hundred hours and many cups of coffee (and bottles of mate) later, the prototype of our own app went online.

The original idea became a "digital bulletin board". And WOW, a lot is happening in our community: people go out to eat together, meet up to play sports, swap and give things away, sell houses and find apartments. The community is growing and not just by people who are interested in our community.

Initial inquiries about whether the platform could be used for other communities presented the small team of two people with a difficult decision: start a business out of the voluntary project and put it on a solid footing, or let the project slowly die out.

It's no big secret how the decision was made. Today there are over 700 communities with their own Communi app and the number is growing every day.

We have long dreamed of involving people who share our vision. In 2022, our small idea will finally become a Public limited company with 49 shareholders.
